A photography project exploring Eubos skincare through playful product photography, soft textures and experimental compositions.

For the final Photography assignment at Artevelde Hogeschool, students were asked to create a complete Instagram campaign around a product that personally inspired them. The project included a series of posts, product photography, atmosphere shots and three Highlights that together formed one visual story.
I chose the dermatological soap brand Eubos, a product I already use myself because of my sensitive skin. Besides the personal connection, the soft colours, simple packaging and textures made it a fun product to experiment with visually.

Throughout the project, I explored playful still-life compositions using water, flowers, soap bubbles, reflections and stacked soap bars. The goal was to transform an everyday skincare product into something more artistic, soft and slightly surreal.
For the Highlight Stories, I focused on the ritual of choosing and unwrapping the soap packaging. Instead of photographing it in a traditional commercial way, I built sculptural pyramid-like arrangements with the soap bars and boxes to create a more creative and expressive atmosphere.

Most visuals were photographed in small handmade studio setups. For a few final images, subtle use of the Generative AI tools in Adobe Photoshop was used to enhance the bubble effects after earlier practical experiments did not fully succeed.
