A rebellious canteen app concept that transforms allergen transparency into a bold industrial-inspired food experience.

Created during a Photoshop assignment at KISP Mariakerke, this fictional album cover was inspired by the visual style of Wallen Diaz and reinterprets Madame Butterfly through a contemporary, highly stylised lens. The project explores the contrast between softness and intensity, blending romantic symbolism with a darker and more mysterious atmosphere.
Created as a school assignment, the branding intentionally moves away from the typical bright and healthy cafeteria aesthetic. Instead, the project embraces a rough industrial visual style with a stronger and more unconventional identity. The visual language combines asphalt grey, rust brown and neon yellow tones with bold typography and a cold, machine-like atmosphere.
With the tagline “Premium Oil for Premium People”, the app presents itself almost like fuel for machines rather than healthy nutrition. The tone of voice is intentionally exaggerated, direct and slightly absurd, creating a humorous contrast with the soft and cheerful branding often seen in traditional healthy food apps.
Industrial Café Royale acts as a playful and rebellious parody of the classic healthy canteen app. A tougher, louder and slightly more chaotic alternative with a strong personality and a humorous edge.
